This project is best when using high contrast of light, medium and dark fabrics. Scraps are fine if you just want to learn/practice the techniques.
Fabric: Please pre-cut your fabrics to save time in class.
Light: 1/3 yard
cut: A - 32 -2 3/8” squares
B - 8 - 4” squares
Medium: 1/2 yard
cut: C - 4 - 2 5/8” squares
D - 8 - 4” squares
Dark: 1/3 yard
cut: D - 8 - 2 2/3” squares
E- 8 - 4 1/4” squares
Other supplies:
*5” or 6” square ruler (if you have a Bloc-Loc Half Square triangle ruler bring it)
*10” or 12” square ruler
*Sewing machine, cord, foot pedal, 1/4” foot
*Rotary cutter, cutting mat
*Basic tools: Thread, scissors, seam ripper etc…
*Lunch, snack and drink
